Full-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants Needed at Presbyterian Medical Center in San Antonio, TX

Seeking highly educated and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants to join our rehab clinic. You will have the chance to work closely with an interdisciplinary team, under the guidance of a Registered Occupational Therapist, and with the support of our approachable and present Rehab Director.

We specialize in providing comprehensive and compassionate occupational therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Our dedicated team of professionals focuses on enhancing the quality of life and promoting independence for our patients.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position that requires 40 hours per week during normal business hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Test and evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities and analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals for patients.
  • Consult with the rehabilitation team to select activity programs and coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active certification and licensure as a COTA in the applicable state.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • A caring and empathetic approach to patient care with a focus on promoting independence and quality of life.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain accurate documentation, and follow ethical and legal guidelines.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic equipment and techniques, including assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and therapeutic exercises.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of $50k-60k/year depending on experience
