Schedule:
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, ensuring effective meeting of our client's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Execute thorough assessments and screenings to assess clients' mental health difficulties and determine the treatment needed.
- Develop tailored therapy programs to address each client's specific issues and goals.
- Assist in the facilitation of evidence-based individual and group treatment sessions.
- Work with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to provide comprehensive care.
- Educate and assist clients' families as they go through the healing process.
- Keep accurate and confidential records while following regulatory and ethical requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current and legitimate state license: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills while building a secure and trusting therapeutic connection with clients.
- Empathy, sympathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and struggles are required.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities are required to ensure effective workload management and administrative chores.
Compensation and Benefits:
