Full-time/Part-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Position Available

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy services to clients seeking outpatient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' relational and mental health needs, create personalized treatment plans, and establish realistic objectives.
  • Utilize family systems theory and systemic interventions to address relationship dynamics, communication issues, and family stressors.
  • Provide immediate support and crisis intervention as needed to ensure client and family safety.
  • Maintain precise and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Educate clients on effective communication, conflict resolution, and coping strategies to enhance their relational and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and integrated client care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy through ongoing training and education.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state/province/country where you practice.
  • Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in the same related field.
  • Previous experience in outpatient therapy services is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dedication to ethical and confidential therapeutic practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a clinical team.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client appointments.
