Job description
The Mental Health Therapist will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, providing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and maintaining clinical documentation. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a thorough understanding of mental health diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapy sessions in individual, couples, family, and group settings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, medical providers, and community organizations as necessary
- Monitor and evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Attend regular staff meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Holding a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in this field
- Experience providing mental health services to individuals, couples, families, and groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of mental health diagnosis and treatment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
