Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) – Alaska

Location: Talkeetna, Alaska

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits

Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Alaska and provide virtual mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while delivering high-quality therapy through a secure telehealth platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide teletherapy sessions to clients dealing with emotional, relational, and mental health challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, DBT, EFT, and solution-focused therapy.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support when needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers to ensure integrated care.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education.

Requirements:

  • Active LMFT license in Alaska (required).
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy.
  • Previous telehealth experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and virtual therapy platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
