General Cardiologist Opportunity

Position Overview:
This full-time role offers a balanced work schedule with Monday to Friday office hours, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. With no hospital rounds or on-call requirements outside of phone consultations, this position is ideal for those looking to focus on delivering high-quality outpatient care in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with acute, chronic, and episodic cardiac conditions, performing thorough physical exams and creating individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment such as echocardiograms, ECGs, MRIs, and CT scans to inform clinical decision-making.
- Perform and interpret exercise and nuclear stress tests, guiding patients toward optimal heart health.
- Manage cardiac medications and therapies, ensuring patient safety and effective treatment outcomes.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle changes, and medication adherence to improve long-term heart health.
- Coordinate care with specialists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient management.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in cardiology through ongoing education and maintain board certification.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
- Board-certified in Cardiology, with a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical school.
- Valid New York state physician license (or ability to obtain).
- Current DEA and ACLS certifications.
- Unrestricted participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal and state programs.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems; eClinicalWorks experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary between $400,000 - $500,000.
