General Cardiologist – Greenbelt, MD
We are looking for a Board-Certified General Cardiologist to provide high-quality cardiac care in our private practice setting. This is a full-time, outpatient role with no hospital rounding or hospital call required.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Scheduled office on-call (phone only)
- No nights, no weekends

About the Role
As a General Cardiologist, you’ll work independently and collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care. Your focus will be on diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiac conditions while ensuring that patients receive personalized, evidence-based treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
- Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and episodic cardiac conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms, ECGs, MRIs, and CT scans.
- Perform and assess exercise and nuclear stress tests.
- Prescribe and monitor cardiac medications, adjusting treatment as needed.
- Educate patients on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and specialists as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Cardiology
- Active or eligible Maryland medical license
- DEA and ACLS certification
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks preferred)
- Strong clinical acumen and commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
