Exciting Opportunity: Full-time Internist Needed at Special Surgery Cardio Well Hospitals.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional on-call responsibilities shared among the team.

Salary:

  • $220,000 to $300,000 per year base salary, dependent on experience (DOE), plus bonus and comprehensive benefits, including paid malpractice.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, employing evidence-based medicine and incorporating the latest medical advancements.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work, imaging studies, and specialized procedures, to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, therapies, and other treatment modalities to promote patient health and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
  • Participate in medical research, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education to stay abreast of the latest developments in internal medicine.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
  • Valid and unrestricted MD license in the state of practice.
  • Excellent clinical skills and a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine.
  • Proficiency in medical decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with colleagues.
