Full Time Non Invasive Cardiologist Needed at Brooklyn, NY

This position requires excellence in general clinical cardiology and may include opportunities in administration, research, and teaching.

Candidates should be focused on providing high quality patient care, be interested in building a robust clinical practice, and have the flexibility to work in various clinical and hospital settings. He/she will participate in outreach efforts for the HVI, expanding inpatient and outpatient activities at locations within the HVI service area.

Job duties include community based general cardiology coverage in both the inpatient and outpatient setting in the greater Pittsburgh region, including cardiology consultative services, critical care services, ECG analysis, interpretation of transthoracic echocardiograms and performance and interpretation of transesophageal echocardiograms and cardiac nuclear studies. These duties will be performed in rotation with other cardiologists within the practice. After-hours and weekend cardiology coverage will be shared among the group.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • A valid medical licenseto practice in the state no board actions
  • Board certification in American Board Certification
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a family medicine practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
