Our premier rehabilitation center is actively seeking talented and dedicated Physiatrists to join our dynamic team in providing comprehensive care to individuals with physical disabilities and injuries.

Salary:
$300,000 to $400,000 per year
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, working approximately 40 hours per week.
- Typical clinic hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- On-call responsibilities may be required on a rotational basis to provide coverage for emergencies or urgent patient needs.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations, to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Coordinate and oversee multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs, collaborating closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Prescribe and administer appropriate medications, injections, and other medical interventions to manage pain and promote functional recovery.
- Perform electrodiagnostic studies, such as nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG), to assess nerve and muscle function.
- Provide expert consultation and guidance to patients and their families, explaining treatment options, expected outcomes, and long-term management strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress through regular follow-up visits, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize rehabilitation potential.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining clear communication with the healthcare team.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and academic activities to contribute to the advancement of the field.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Physiatrist.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in the evaluation and management of various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
