Looking For Full Time Pediatrician in Sharp Health Care Services

The Physician of Pediatrics promotes and maintains health by providing medical services to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an inpatient and/or outpatient setting. Ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
- Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
- Examine patient and diagnose patient’s injury or illness. Institute therapy or referrals of patient to the appropriate health care facilities, agencies, or other resources of the community.
- Determine normal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies, interpreting test results.
- Interpret and evaluate patient data to determine patient management and treatment.
- Explain procedure and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment or appropriate stabilization measures in situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, and convulsions.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Perform therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations, suturing, managing wounds and infections.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.)
- Graduate of an accredited residency program in family medicine, internal medicine/pediatrics, or pediatrics
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience as a practicing clinician, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be board certified at hire and will be expected to maintain appropriate board certification, licensure, and membership in professional organizations.
Salary:
$400,000-$600,000 per year.
