Full-time Psychiatrist MD Needed at Path Psychiatry Center

Path Psychiatry Center are a reputable geriatric care facility specializing in providing comprehensive mental health services to elderly residents. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for seniors through expert psychiatric care and compassionate support and create a nurturing and enriching environment for seniors, where their mental health needs are prioritized, and they can enjoy a fulfilling and dignified life.

We focus on Dementia Care, Geriatric Psychiatry, Mood Disorders, End-of-Life Support, and Cognitive Assessments. We are currently seeking an experienced Psychiatrist MD to join our team in providing personalized psychiatric care to our elderly residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations to assess residents' mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, considering the complexities of geriatric care.
  • Provide expert medication management, considering potential interactions with other medications.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, nursing staff, and therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Offer supportive therapy and psychoeducation to residents and their families.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training on geriatric psychiatry best practices.

Schedule:

Full-time schedule during regular business hours.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) degree with a specialization in Psychiatry from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure as a Psychiatrist with an active and unrestricted license.
  • Experience in geriatric psychiatry or a similar setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of mental health challenges faced by elderly individuals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with residents and staff.

Salary:

$180,000 to $210,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
