Seeking a Fully Licensed Mental Health Therapist to Join Our School Counseling Center in Bainbridge Island, WA

This is a full-time position with regular business hours, occasional evening availability, and flexibility during peak periods.
Our school counseling center offers a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you will work closely with students, faculty, and staff. Your primary workplace will be on campus, making use of state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of students and determine appropriate treatment options.
- Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services to students dealing with a range of concerns.
- Facilitate therapy groups and workshops focused on topics relevant to student well-being and personal development.
- Collaborate with various campus partners, including academic advisors, residential life staff, and student organizations, to promote comprehensive student support.
- Engage in outreach and prevention efforts, such as mental health awareness campaigns and wellness events.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.
Qualifications:
- An active license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the unique challenges and mental health concerns faced by college students.
- Showcase excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and collaborate with the diverse campus community.
- Possess knowledge of evidence-based practices and brief therapy models suitable for a university counseling center setting.
- Display the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse caseload.
Compensation and Benefits:
