As a licensed mental health counselor, clinical social worker, or marriage & family therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments to understand client concerns and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to each client's unique needs
  • Collaborate with other practitioners to ensure comprehensive support throughout the therapeutic process
  • Participate in regular training opportunities to stay current with industry best practices
  • Contribute ideas towards program development or improvement initiatives
  • Provide evidence-based therapy to address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and provide holistic support to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in the field of mental health counseling.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals facing emotional challenges preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport quickly
  • Familiarity using electronic medical records systems is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to cultural competence and providing inclusive and affirming care.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What We Offer:

  • Full-time counselors in this role can expect to make from $115,000 to $130,000 a year.
  • Counselors who work full-time are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend.
