Mental Health Counselor

We are looking for a like minded candidate who can work independently, have a strong work ethic, advocates for their client needs, and has experience/passion in working with trauma/PTSD populations. We are looking for providers who are highly skilled and passionate about in a trauma informed niche. We specialize in trauma and provide services to individuals who have experienced various levels of trauma. We believe that everyone can overcome the challenges of their life with the right kind of support to help our clients rise above their situation!

This position will require:
-Good knowledge of computer programs (typing of notes required) and understanding of HIPAA
-Ability to assess safety concerns and provide a treatment plan in a rural setting
-Ability to provide crisis services when therapeutically appropriate and consistency in maintaining client sessions
-Ability to complete comprehensive mental health assessment, treatment planning, provide up to bi-weekly sessions with clients, and termination sessions
-Creation of a working relationship with fellow counselors which include consultation, supervision, and referrals when necessary
-Making critical decisions that keep the client's needs in mind while maintaining ethics
-Current areas of practice needed: Adults, children/adolescents, couples/family, EMDR, & IFS
