Responsibility:

  • Abide by all of the appropriate code of ethics
  • Understand and apply all Coastal Center for Collaborative Health Policies and Procedures
  • Provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families
  • Collaborate with other therapists and office staff to meet individual and family needs
  • Secure and document informed consent from all clients
  • Provide mental health screenings and assessments to determine treatment needs

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited program in marriage and family therapy, professional counseling, or mental health counseling.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience related in any of this field.
  • Knowledge of current principles, practices, techniques, and trends in individual and family counseling
  • Familiarity in working effectively with children and families from a systemic perspective
  • Theoretical basis and practical experience with crisis intervention
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
