Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000 per year

Job description

The Mental Health Therapist will have competency in delivering services and treatments based of recovery-oriented services, family systems, and evidenced based treatments. Therapist provides consultation and training on psychosocial aspects of human behavior and complex environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments, mental health diagnoses, treatment plans and implements short-term counseling using appropriate modalities for patients with issues such as: depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, addiction, domestic violence, behavioral health problems, and psychosocial stressors. Works predominantly within clinic, but may include home visit services.
  • Provides short-term case management services for patients participating in treatment.
  • As a team member, assists with crisis intervention and triage as needed. Crisis intervention includes assessment, de-escalation, and notifying the public mental health crisis response team if necessary.
  • Works with team members to provide follow-up assessment and prevention planning after any crisis, including follow-up with outside agencies.
  • Collaborate with providers and treatment team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in behavioral science with 2 years post-licensure and a current relevant BBS designation (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC).
  • Active Licensed in Social Work, Counseling, and Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience related in any of this field.
  • Demonstrated skills in the clinical mental health services with individuals, families, and groups.
  • Knowledge of mental health illness and effective treatment approaches to mental disorders.
  • Possession of valid driver’s license and access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated per requirements of all laws.
