Hiring Full-Time Nurse Practitioner
Position: Nurse Practitioner
Location: Anacortes, Washington
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 per year + benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient clinic in Washington. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary and specialty care to patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and risk evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory illnesses.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending therapies.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging, and EKGs).
- Provide preventive care services, including health screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-management techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or equivalent.
- 2+ years of clinical experience in an outpatient or primary care setting preferred (new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in chronic disease management, preventive care, and patient education.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation
