Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology Needed!
Position Summary:
The cardiology Nurse Practitioner will be assisting and diagnosing cardiac conditions in patients, performing cardiac testing and interpreting results, developing and implementing treatment plans for patients, prescribing medications and administering treatment, counseling and educating patients on cardiac conditions and prevention, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cardiac care.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $150,000 to $160,000 per with full benefits
Key Responsibilities Are:
- Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and screenings for patients and families within the community.
- Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic heart conditions, including preventive care and health promotion focused on cardiovascular health.
- Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to create and implement heart health education programs.
- Provide culturally sensitive cardiac care and advocate for patients’ rights and access to cardiology services.
- Maintain precise and thorough medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and cardiology best practices.
- Stay informed about current trends in cardiovascular health, evidence-based practices, and relevant policies to ensure the highest quality of care.
Qualifications We Are Looking For:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active state nursing license with credentials in Cardiovascular Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, ideally in cardiology or cardiovascular health settings, with a background in community or public health being advantageous.
