Nurse Practitioner – Cardiovascular Medicine
Brooklyn, NY

We’re seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in cardiovascular health and imaging to join a collaborative cardiology team in Brooklyn. This full-time role offers the chance to make a real impact by supporting patients with heart conditions and contributing to their long-term wellness.

Position Highlights:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Compensation: $150,000 - $160,000 per year
  • Location: Brooklyn, NY (Relocation required prior to start)

Your Role:
In this position, you’ll play a pivotal role in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular conditions, including administering and interpreting stress tests. Working closely with cardiology physicians, you’ll ensure seamless, patient-centered care by taking a holistic and evidence-based approach to treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed histories and comprehensive physical exams.
  • Provide expert care to adults with cardiovascular concerns, managing treatments for heart disease and chronic conditions.
  • Administer and oversee cardiac diagnostic tests, ensuring accuracy in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Order, analyze, and integrate laboratory and diagnostic test results into patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and long-term care strategies.
  • Prescribe medications in compliance with New York State and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and provide seamless follow-up care.
  • Stay up to date on advancements in cardiovascular medicine through continuous learning.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support team goals and patient care objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program and graduation from a New York State registered Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in cardiovascular care.
  • Certification: Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC, AANP), with an active and unencumbered New York State RN license.
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll.
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
