Nurse Practitioner - Family Medicine

Location: New York

Salary Range: $150,000 to $160,000

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed team. As an integral part of our practice, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to our diverse patient population.

Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
  • Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
  • Analyze test data and determine the need for follow up appointments and further treatment options
  • Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
  • Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment, focusing on harm reduction techniques

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine.
  • Current and valid Family Nurse Practitioner license in New York.
  • Master's degree program designed to prepare a registered nurse to provide acute/primary health care services or the successful completion of an approved supplemental education program, i.e., post
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience in area of specialty practice applied for
  • Proficiency in performing physical examinations, diagnosing common illnesses, and managing chronic conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
