Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) – New York

Location: Poughkeepsie, New York

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 per year + benefits

Are you a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner looking to make a meaningful impact on patient care? We are seeking a dedicated NP to join our dynamic healthcare team in New York, providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive clinical environment.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions across diverse populations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on preventive care, medications, and lifestyle changes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate electronic medical records (EMR).

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
  • Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology NP, or specialty area (as applicable).
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in primary care, internal medicine, or relevant specialty preferred.
