As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional vision care, we are expanding our ophthalmology and optometry services and are seeking a full-time Optometrist to play a key role in our growing team.
Job Duties:
- Provide comprehensive eye exams and medical optometry services to patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and infections
- Co-manage post-operative care with ophthalmologists for surgical patients (cataract, retinal, and corneal procedures)
- Collaborate closely with internal medicine, neurology, endocrinology, and other specialties within the hospital system
- Support inpatient consultations and participate in clinical case discussions
- Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging equipment in a modern clinic setting
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Current Oregon optometry license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Residency training or hospital-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong clinical skills in ocular disease and medical optometry
- Excellent communication and a patient-first approach to care
