You’ll work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment alongside physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure optimal medication use across a variety of hospital units—from emergency and ICU to med-surg and oncology. • Compound, prepare, and dispense medications per hospital protocols and legal requirements
  • Provide real-time clinical consultation to physicians, nurses, and care teams
  • Monitor patient therapy for drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and adverse effects
  • Participate in antimicrobial stewardship and therapeutic substitution programs
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (USP, Joint Commission, Board of Pharmacy standards)
  • Educate patients on medication use upon discharge (when applicable)
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff in safe medication practices

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school
  • Active California Pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain before starting
  • Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacotherapy and medication safety standards
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills
  • Completion of PGY1 (and PGY2 for clinical/lead roles) residency
  • Hospital or health system pharmacy experience
  • Certification in sterile compounding, pharmacotherapy, or BCPS (a plus)
  • Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis or similar EHR and dispensing systems

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with a hospital-grade benefits package
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off (PTO) and holidays
  • Continuing education support and professional development opportunities
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Licensure and certification reimbursement
  • Access to the latest technology and formulary systems
  • Opportunities to participate in clinical research, teaching, and protocol development
  • A collaborative, progressive, and inclusive workplace culture

If you're a pharmacist looking for clinical challenge, community impact, and career advancement, we want to hear from you.
