Where: Avon, Colorado

Annual Income Potential: $70,000 – $80,000 + benefits

Job Details:

Our growing team is currently looking for a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver therapeutic treatments, helping patients restore movement, function, and independence.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Patient Volume: 1-2 patients per hour

Job Duties:

  • Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.

  • Support patients in performing exercises and activities designed to enhance their physical abilities.

  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

  • Educate and support families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and at-home activities.

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions.

  • Ensure a safe, welcoming, and child-friendly therapeutic environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

  • Licensure: Active Colorado PTA license (or eligibility to obtain).

  • Experience: Preferably 1+ year of experience in orthopedic therapy, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Experience with sensory integration, neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), or orthopedics is a plus.

  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams.
