Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant needed at Gemstone Wellness Center

The physical therapist assistant is able to interact on a professional basis and able to understand and react effectively to the unique needs of patients in reference to specific age groups. The physical therapist demonstrates competency to plan, initiate and evaluate care for patients in accordance with discipline-specific therapy standards.

Job and Responsibilities:

• Executes the daily operations of a worksite physical therapy clinic.
• Evaluates patients thoroughly and documents evaluations according to applicable guidelines, standards and policies.
• Completes progress notes and reassessments when required and documents them according to applicable guidelines, standards and policies.
• Provides patients with effective treatments that progress them towards their goals and documents treatments according to applicable guidelines, standards and policies.

Salary: $60,000-$80,000 per year

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies
• Virginia State Physical Therapy Assistant License
• 2 years or more of Orthopedic Outpatient Experience is preferred
