Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA
Location: Modesto, California
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 + benefits
Position Overview:
We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join us and work with our team in outpatient practice. Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, you will assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care.
Who are we looking for?

Completes necessary education to attain Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of California

California Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire.

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Demonstrated competence in physical therapy treatment.

Strong communication skills for patient, family, and caregiver interactions.

What you will do:
-
Assists the therapist in data collection, including appropriate tests and measurements for initial evaluation, and communicates status updates, as directed by the therapist, within their scope of practice.

Assists in the implementation of the therapy plan of care for their assigned patient, including performance of therapy procedures and related tasks that have been selected and delegated by the supervising therapist.

Progresses treatment techniques and procedures as patient’s status and functional potential changes in conjunction with the specific therapy plan of care designed by the supervising therapist.

Identifies, responds, and reports to the supervising therapist any changes in the patient’s physical/mental status and/or tolerance to treatment.

Under the direction of the supervising therapist, coordinates treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services, as well as available community resources.

Attend appropriate clinical meetings to facilitate coordination.
