Join Our Team: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Clinic

Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year

Location: Modesto, California

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

We are currently looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team of dedicated professionals. In this role, you’ll assist Physical Therapists in delivering care plans, supporting patient goals, and maintaining a high standard of therapy services in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Instruct, motivate, and assist patients in therapeutic exercises and activities
  • Document patient responses and progress accurately in the EMR system
  • Assist in preparing therapy areas and equipment
  • Monitor patient safety during sessions and adjust treatment as necessary
  • Foster a positive, motivating environment for all patients
  • Maintain open communication with the supervising PT and clinical team

Qualifications:

  • California Physical Therapist Assistant License (Required)
  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program
  • CPR/BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • Previous outpatient experience is a plus, but new grads are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
