Now Hiring: Physical Therapist - Assisted Living Facility in Hillsborough, New Jersey

Calling all experienced physical therapists to work in our assisted living facility. Your job focuses on enhancing residents' daily living skills, mobility, and overall well-being through individualized care plans, assessments, and interventions. Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 per year + benefits (Full-Time)
Patient Volume: 4 to 5 patients a day

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical abilities, limitations, and functional needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on these assessments, focusing on improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional skills
• Implement physical therapy interventions, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities
• Provide education and counseling to residents and their families regarding their physical therapy program and how to maintain their progress
• Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and independence.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress, and interventions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, occupational therapists, and physicians, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding treatment goals, progress, and any concerns
• Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance the effectiveness and safety of physical therapy services
• Ensure a safe environment for residents during physical therapy sessions

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Master's Degree: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current physical therapist license issued by the licensing board of New Jersey
  
• 1+ years experience as a practicing Physical Therapist in an assisted living facility setting is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
