Job Title: Physical Therapy Aide – Outpatient Clinic
Salary Range: $35,000 – $45,000 per year
Location: Seattle , Washington
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to assist our team of skilled physical therapists in providing excellent care to our patients. In this role, you will provide hands-on support in therapy sessions, maintain the clinic’s daily operations, and ensure that patients are comfortable and ready for their treatments. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to gain experience in the physical therapy field and advance their career in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help physical therapists with patient positioning, equipment setup, and providing support during physical therapy exercises and modalities.
- Ensure patients feel comfortable, welcome, and prepared for their therapy sessions. Provide encouragement and assist patients in following their prescribed exercises.
- Ensure that the clinic and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained. Disinfect treatment tables, equipment, and other areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Assist with filing patient records, scheduling appointments, and providing general administrative support as needed.
- Help monitor patient progress during exercises, offering assistance when necessary and reporting any changes in patient conditions to the physical therapist.
- Ensure that patients’ needs are met promptly and assist with any additional administrative or clinical tasks as directed by physical therapy staff.
- Assist with the documentation process by ensuring that patient charts are updated and all necessary information is recorded accurately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework or previous experience in a healthcare or physical therapy setting is a plus.
- No prior experience is required, but previous experience in a medical or therapy setting is preferred.
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, patient-focused attitude. Ability to multi-task, work well in a team, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients during therapy sessions. Comfortable lifting and moving equipment, as well as helping patients with mobility and exercises.
- Ability to work effectively with physical therapists, other aides, and administrative staff to provide the best patient care.
