Now Hiring: Physical Therapist – Assisted Living Facility in Redmond, Oregon

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our care team at an Assisted Living Facility in California. In this full-time role, you will develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing the mobility, strength, and overall well-being of senior residents. Your expertise will help reduce pain, prevent falls, and improve daily functioning, empowering residents to maintain their independence.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 per year + benefits

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate residents' mobility, strength, and balance.
  • Create and execute customized treatment plans that address individual needs and therapy goals.
  • Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and adaptive equipment to improve physical performance.
  • Provide pain management strategies and techniques to enhance comfort and mobility.
  • Educate residents and caregivers on safe mobility practices and home exercise programs.
  • Monitor and document progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and physicians to ensure seamless, coordinated care.
  • Promote fall prevention and functional independence through tailored interventions.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapy license in California.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in geriatric or assisted living settings preferred.
  • Proficiency in mobility rehabilitation, pain management, and fall prevention techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior residents and families.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
