Job Opportunity: Full-Time Pediatric Physical Therapist – Pediatric Therapy Office (Texas)

Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000 per year

Location: Frisco , Texas

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Our pediatric therapy office in Texas is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. You’ll work with children of all ages, helping them overcome physical challenges and achieve milestones that will make a lasting impact on their quality of life.

Our pediatric therapy office is committed to providing exceptional care for children with a variety of physical needs, from developmental delays and motor impairments to injuries and neurological disorders. Our team is driven by a passion for helping children reach their full potential, providing individualized therapy in a warm and supportive environment. With an emphasis on family-centered care, we work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure our patients’ success both in the clinic and at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments of each child’s physical development, motor skills, strength, and functional abilities.
  • Customized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs and goals of each child, with a focus on improving strength, coordination, balance, and mobility.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize a variety of therapy techniques, such as therapeutic exercises, play-based interventions, sensory integration, functional mobility training, and motor skill development.
  • Progress Monitoring: Continuously evaluate the progress of each child, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Parent & Caregiver Education: Provide education to parents and caregivers on home exercises, proper body mechanics, and strategies to encourage development outside of therapy sessions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to deliver a holistic, interdisciplinary approach to care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of assessments, progress, and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

  • Licensing/Certification: Current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Experience: Prior experience in pediatric physical therapy is highly preferred, but we also welcome new graduates who have a passion for working with children and families.
  • Skills: Strong clinical knowledge in pediatric therapy, including developmental milestones, motor skills, and therapeutic techniques tailored to children. Ability to work with children of all ages, from infants to adolescents, and adjust treatment plans to meet their developmental stages.
  • Personality: Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children. A positive, engaging, and friendly demeanor that puts children and their families at ease.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively educate parents and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Creativity: Ability to make therapy fun, engaging, and age-appropriate to motivate children to participate in their treatment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
