Full-time Dermatology Physician Assistants Needed at Flawless Visage Specialists in Joliet, IL
Flawless Visage Specialists is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and outgoing individual to join an established dermatology practice.
Our focus is on delivering comprehensive dermatological services that cater to the unique needs of our patients. Our team of highly skilled and compassionate dermatology physician assistants works closely with our board-certified dermatologists to provide top-notch care in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. We offer advanced treatments for skin disorders, acne management, skin cancer screenings, mole removal, and various cosmetic procedures to enhance our patients' appearance and boost their confidence.
Work Environment:
Combination of office, exam rooms, and classrooms. May be exposed to communicable diseases and other conditions common to clinical settings.
Mental/Physical Requirements:
Various activities include sitting, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting. Must be able to stand for two to four hours during educational sessions. Occasionally required to carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Low level of stress.
Work Schedule:
Full-time during regular office hours
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Performs comprehensive histories and physical exams, and identifies normal and abnormal findings.
- Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Develops pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans.
- Monitors effectiveness of plan of care.
- Educates patients on conditions and treatment plans.
- Performs procedures as trained and appropriately privileged.
- Documents within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and completes other necessary documents.
- Collaborates and/or consults with physicians and other health care providers as appropriate.
- Educates, counsels, and assists patients and families regarding current health problems, health maintenance activities, and preventive behaviors.
- Assist in meeting payer performance measures.
Education/Certification:
- Requires a diploma from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- Requires certification as a Physician Assistant and current CPR certification. Must hold a valid license.
- Minimum 1 year in an interactive clinical care setting as a Physician’s Assistant.
- Standard office equipment, including computers.
Salary:
$80,000 - $150,000
