Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Thursday: 9 AM-7 PM

Compensation: $115,000.00 - $135,000 per year + benefits 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in providing advanced care across inpatient and/or outpatient services.

The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical teams to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patient care. This role involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based medical services while ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.

Job Duties:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations
  • Order, interpret, and act on lab results, imaging, and other diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in coordination with supervising physicians and clinical teams
  • Perform procedures within scope of practice (e.g., suturing, wound care, catheter placement, etc.)
  • Document clinical encounters and patient progress in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Provide patient education regarding disease prevention, treatment options, and post-discharge care
  • Participate in daily rounds, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain active licensure and board certification while participating in ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current and valid Physician Assistant license in the State of New Jersey
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • DEA registration with prescriptive authority in New Jersey
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital, urgent care, or specialty setting preferred
  • Strong diagnostic, procedural, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in EMR systems (e.g., Epic)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends or evenings, as required by department needs
