Full-time and Part-time Physician Assistant Needed at Apex Pain Management

Our Pediatrician group in the Stockton, CA area is seeking either an experienced Physician Assistant.

The newly expanded practice is seeking an additional provider due to patient demand.

Outpatient only with no inpatient rounding. We have full time and part time opportunities available.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday.
  • 8:00pm - 5:00am
  • Night Shift

Salary:

  • $110,000 - $160,000 per year + Bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive outpatient care to patients of varying ages, providing medical assessments, diagnosing conditions, formulating treatment plans, and managing follow-up care.
  • Collaborative Approach: Collaborate effectively with our healthcare team, including physicians and support staff, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Clinical Expertise: Apply your medical knowledge and experience to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes according to established protocols.
  • Night Shift Duties: Fulfill your responsibilities during the night shift (8:00 pm - 5:00 am), providing attentive and compassionate care to patients during these hours.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and legal standards, ensuring that all medical practices align with state and federal regulations.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, preventive measures, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Adaptability: Quickly assimilate and respond to new concepts, trends, and healthcare initiatives, ensuring the incorporation of best practices into patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) with active license to practice
  • One year experience
  • Candidate without the MSN, but whose Nurse Practitioner certification is current and was grandfathered-in prior to the Master's degree becoming a requirement for the credential will be considered if they also have required hands-on experience
  • Ability to effectively present and document information for patient population
  • Able to respond to questions from leadership, providers, managers, and members of the healthcare team
  • Must have sensitivity to low income and ethnic minority community
  • Ability to quickly assimilate, assess and act on upon new concepts, trends, and initiatives
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills
  • Ability to represent the organization in a professional manner in a variety of settings, meet people with diplomacy and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions in line with state and federal regulations
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and analyze documents, regulations, and policies
  • Ability to prepare and submit complete and succinct documentation necessary to the job

Requirements:
