Full-Time Physician Assistant – Urgent Care
Location: Bethel, Connecticut

Work Hours: Monday - Thursday: 9 AM-7 PM
Compensation:$120,000-$150,000 per year + benefits
We are seeking highly skilled Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting where your skills will make a significant impact every day.
As a Physician Assistant in our urgent care centers, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care to a diverse patient population with a broad spectrum of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. You will work autonomously under the supervision of a board-certified physician, as well as collaboratively with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Job Duties:

Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories

Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including respiratory infections, fractures, lacerations, and dermatologic issues

Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests such as X-rays, EKGs, and lab work

Perform minor procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, abscess drainage, wound care)

Prescribe medications in accordance with state laws and medical protocols

Educate patients on treatment plans, preventive health measures, and follow-up care

Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation via EMR systems

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care

Assist with triaging and managing patient flow in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut

NCCPA certification
-
BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Minimum of 1 year of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or a similar high-acuity setting

DOT certification

Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs)
