You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive foot care services and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough foot examinations to diagnose and assess various foot and ankle conditions.
  • Evaluate patients' medical histories, symptoms, and lifestyle factors to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide medical and surgical interventions for a range of foot and ankle conditions, including bunions, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, and diabetic foot ulcers.
  • Prescribe orthotic devices, custom footwear, and recommend physical therapy as needed.
  • Perform surgical procedures such as bunionectomies, hammertoe corrections, and wound debridement, adhering to surgical best practices and safety protocols.
  • Educate patients on foot health, preventive care, proper footwear choices, and exercises to improve foot function.
  • Explain treatment options, procedures, and potential risks to patients in a clear and empathetic manner.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and diabetic care specialists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in podiatry through continuing education, workshops, and conferences to provide evidence-based care.
  • Prioritize patient well-being and comfort, delivering care with empathy, respect, and sensitivity to individual needs.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Abide by all legal and ethical standards, as well as regulatory guidelines, related to podiatric care.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited podiatry school.
  • State license to practice podiatry.
  • Relevant clinical experience in diagnosing and treating foot and ankle conditions.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Saturdays: Rotational shifts with other team members, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Salary:

$180,000 to $220,000 per year.
