Job Title: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Our mental health clinic is currently seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and dedicated professional with experience providing therapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups. In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide solution-based interventions to clients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of the client's mental health and psychosocial needs to develop a personalized treatment plan.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients using evidence-based interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and progress.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and social services to ensure clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in times of need.
  • Participate in team meetings and continuing education to stay informed of emerging trends and best practices in mental health treatment.
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with state regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work or related field.
  • LPC licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of two years of experience providing therapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for a range of mental health disorders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
