Part-time/Full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Wanted at Daybreak Mental Health Clinic.

Responsibilities:

- Provide clients with tailored therapy techniques by completing detailed assessments and evaluations.

- Provide individuals, groups, couples, and families with evidence-based therapy treatments.

- Use a range of specialized therapeutic techniques, such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.

- Work with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive client care.

- Keep accurate and up-to-date clinical records while complying to legal and ethical guidelines.

- Attend workshops and ongoing professional development to stay current on advances in mental health research.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state
  • Experience in counseling for at least 2years, preferably in a clinical context, is required.
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly preferred.
  • strong understanding of legal and ethical standards.
  • excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, establishing rapport with a variety of clientele.
  • ability to cooperate with a healthcare team has been demonstrated.
  • proficiency with EMR software and related technologies.
