Hiring! Clinical Psychologist (PsyD)

Location: Bakersfield, California

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits

Position Overview:

Our team of multidisciplinary medical professionals is looking for an experienced psychologist. If you are a qualified candidate eager to contribute to the mental health and rehabilitation of troubled individuals, we would like to hear from you!

Job Duties:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of patients to determine mental health status, risk factors, and treatment needs

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions addressing various mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and anger management

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss inmate cases and coordinate care

  • Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records of all psychological services provided

  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in correctional psychology to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health care services

Requirements:

  • A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or school psychology from an APA accredited program

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychology

  • Experience working with and being comfortable around children and families

  • Valid California licensure in psychology with no infractions

  • Certification in relevant psychological practices is a plus

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

  • Strong working knowledge of diagnostic techniques
