Looking for Full Time Mental Health Counselor Needed at Empower Well Health Care Center

Our team provides outpatient behavioral health services, these clinic provide services ranging from individual and group therapy to substance abuse assessments and treatment. It’s mental health program takes a recovery-oriented approach to alleviate symptoms and restore emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and social well-being.

Job Types:

• Full-time Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Counsels and provides crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems.
• Communicates with physicians to report patient progress, needs, concerns, and potential and actual problems.
• Maintains accurate and timely records including clinical and progress notes according to department policy.
• Works closely with members of the health care team in the development of the plan of treatment, including discharge plans, based on the psychosocial assessment, and accepted social work interventions.
• Develops working relationship with leaders in community resource groups, representing the organization at meetings and on various committees that address the social needs of patients.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree required Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling
• One of the following independent licenses: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Must have (2) two years of professional experience.

Salary:

$115k - $130k a year.
