Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, CA. The BCBA will be responsible for developing and overseeing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, providing training and supervision to RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians), and collaborating with families and other professionals to ensure the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Implement and supervise ABA programs, ensuring fidelity and effectiveness.
* Provide direct supervision and training to RBTs and other support staff.
* Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed based on data and outcomes.
* Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support the implementation of treatment plans.
* Conduct parent and caregiver training sessions to promote skill generalization and family involvement.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and supervision activities.
* Stay current with ABA research and best practices to ensure the highest quality of care.
* Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards as set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Qualifications:
* Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a BCBA, preferably with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
* Strong knowledge of ABA principles, techniques, and interventions.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within Ventura County.
* Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
