Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) – Full-Time Opportunity in Bangor, Maine
We are currently seeking an LCSW to provide comprehensive mental health therapy services to individuals, couples, and families in need of support. As a clinical social worker, your primary responsibility is to promote patients' well-being.
Job Type: Full Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake assessments to evaluate mental health concerns, social history, and support systems.
- Coordinate safety planning and referrals to emergency services or psychiatric care if needed.
- Maintain confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines
- Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and self-care.
- Engage in continuing education and training to maintain LCSW credentials.
- Utilize specialized knowledge and skills to deliver effective care, identify potential diagnoses, and create targeted interventions
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care providers, specialists, psychiatrists, and community programs, to ensure comprehensive behavioral healthcare for patients of all ages
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Active and valid Maine Social Worker (LCSW) license and ability to practice independently
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Expertise with psychosocial assessments, clinical interventions, and treatment planning
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
