Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker – Full-Time Opportunity in Valley City, North Dakota

Looking for an LICSW to provide comprehensive clinical social work services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, therapy, and case management, with a focus on promoting well-being and addressing mental health and social needs.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches
  • Coordinate services, connect clients with resources, and advocate for their needs within the community and system
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including physicians, therapists, and other support staff, to ensure comprehensive client care
  • Participate in regular supervision and consultation to maintain clinical competence and adhere to ethical standards
  • Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the system and community
  • Adhere to all relevant ethical standards, regulations, and policies

Requirements:

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited program
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in North Dakota
  • 2+ years of clinical social work experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnosis skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills
  • Knowledge of relevant social work theories and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of community resources and referral processes
