Speech-Language Pathologist – Help Residents Find Their Voice Again

A role is open for a Speech-Language Pathologist who’s ready to make a real impact in an Assisted Living Facility in Portland, Oregon. You'll work directly with residents to improve communication and swallowing functions, helping them regain confidence and independence in a welcoming environment.

Details to Know:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Caseload: Around 7 residents daily (35/week)
• Salary Range: $75,000–$85,000 annually
• Employment Type: Full-Time

What You'll Be Doing:

• Performing assessments for speech, language, and swallowing challenges
• Creating care plans that reflect clinical needs and goals
• Collaborating with other professionals to support residents' overall progress
• Offering guidance to family members and staff on communication techniques
• Maintaining treatment records and updating progress regularly
• Staying in compliance with all regulations and clinical standards

Ideal Background:

• Master's or Doctorate in SLP from an accredited institution
• Oregon SLP license (active)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience—geriatric experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
