We are offering an excellent job opportunity for a part-time or full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established Pediatric office
Job Description:
- Assesses, diagnoses, plans, and implements medical care for patients in collaboration with a physician.
- Functions within the full scope of licensure, taking accountability for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Provides direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care, ensuring holistic and individualized care for all assigned patients.
- Develops, implements, and manages an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care, considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Maintains collaborative relationships with patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication.
- Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations to ensure a quality, highly reliable patient experience.
- Engages in continuous growth and development in professional advanced nursing practice.
- Follows ambulatory care and inpatient standardized procedures, protocols, policies, and procedures as regulated by the State of California Nurse Practice Act.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 9 am-5 pm
EDUCATION:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Master's: Nursing
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
- NP-Nurse Practitioner (National certification)
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- Certification required based on the department requirements.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
- Department: SMCS-Sutter Child Center Outpatient Services, CPNP - Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of recent relevant experience.
- Experience within specialty required.
Salary
$126,000 - $150,000 per year
