Full-time/Part-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioners Needed at Adapt Ways Services
Adapt Ways Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our healthcare team. As a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider, you will work closely with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to pediatric patients. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and providing education and support to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric care and a passion for improving the health and well-being of children.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments of pediatric patients, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
- Formulate accurate diagnoses based on clinical findings and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies according to established guidelines and in consultation with supervising physicians.
- Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide follow-up care.
- Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare measures, disease management, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, nurses, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and progress.
- Stay informed about current research, advancements, and best practices in pediatric care through continuous professional development and participation in relevant conferences and training programs.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards in healthcare practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and informed consent.
Salary Range:
$131,000 to $150,000 / Year
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent advanced practice nursing degree.
- Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Pediatric Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Active state licensure and ability to practice as an advanced practice provider in pediatrics.
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant healthcare software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years experience as a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider.
- Knowledge of evidence-based guidelines and standards of care in pediatric medicine.
- Familiarity with pediatric subspecialties and their unique healthcare needs.
- Bilingual proficiency in languages commonly spoken by the patient population.
