Part-time/Contract Licensed Acupuncturists Needed at State Acupuncture And Massage Therapy Center in Fort Worth, TX

We are looking for responsible and skilled Licensed Acupuncturists to provide holistic acupuncture medicine and/or pain acupuncture medicine in an outpatient mental health treatment setting.

You will collaborate with mental health counselors to offer collaborative inpatient treatment. Opportunity exists to grow your practice. Payment is on a per-treatment basis upon receipt of insurance reimbursements.

Schedule:

  • At least 8 patient hours a week.
  • One evening shift or one-weekend shift.
  • Choose your own hours
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
  • Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to practitioners who are referring internally at the practice.
  • Coordinate linens and disposals as needed.
  • Participate in idea sharing to continue referral streams.
  • Welcome patients and prepare the acupuncture room for patient care.
  • Maintain updated and current Maryland Acupuncture license.
  • Able to work at least one evening or during one weekend (day) per week.
  • Stay current with all continuing education.
  • Maintain updated medical records per regulations and ethics.
  • Bill through EHR by COB on day of service.
  • Manage schedule and follow up with patients for continued care.
  • Available for at least 8 hours per week and open to more hours with patient care needs.
  • Sustain a positive and productive office environment.
  • Other duties as needed as assigned by Clinical Development Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Acupuncture Medicine.
  • Licensed Acupuncturist in the state.
  • Ability to support two rooms at the same time as we grow.
  • Ability to keep confidential and sensitive information.
  • A commitment to standing as a moral and upstanding representative of the Organization.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Proven office administration experience.
  • Able to build rapport easily.
  • Able to work independently and know when to collaborate.
  • Have experience with or willingness to learn EHR.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficient in stress management and pain relief methods.
  • Friendly, healing, and professional demeanor.

Compensation:

  • 70% of patient reimbursements. Pay is weekly.
