Job Title: Licensed Acupuncturist – Outpatient Clinic

Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000 per year

Location: Tacoma , Washington

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Acupuncturist to provide acupuncture services as part of our interdisciplinary care team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting, enjoys helping patients manage pain and stress, and is dedicated to providing high-quality, holistic care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Evaluation & Treatment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, review health history, and develop individualized acupuncture treatment plans focused on pain relief, rehabilitation, and wellness.
  • Therapeutic Techniques: Administer acupuncture, electroacupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, and other traditional techniques in accordance with best practices and state guidelines.
  • Holistic Integration: Collaborate with physical therapists, chiropractors, and other care providers to ensure integrated, whole-body care plans.
  • Patient Education: Offer insights on lifestyle, nutrition, and stress management strategies that support healing and overall wellness.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
  • Clinic Participation: Attend staff meetings, contribute to case discussions, and participate in educational workshops or wellness initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Current Washington State license to practice acupuncture. NCCAOM certification required.
  • Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited acupuncture or Oriental medicine program.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical internships will be considered.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic and needling skills, with the ability to customize care for a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and internal conditions.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
  • Team-Oriented: Ability to thrive in a collaborative, integrative environment where cross-discipline communication is key to success.
