Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000 per year + benefits

As a Pharmacy Technician in our acute care setting, you’ll work side-by-side with pharmacists, nurses, and physicians in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment that values precision and professionalism.

Job Duties:
  • Prepare, label, and deliver medications under pharmacist supervision
  • Assist in sterile and non-sterile compounding in compliance with USP <797>/<800> standards
  • Maintain accurate medication records in the electronic health system (EPIC experience a plus)
  • Restock automated dispensing cabinets (e.g., Pyxis or Omnicell)
  • Support inventory control, expiration date checks, and ordering processes
  • Participate in emergency code response and STAT medication delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and state/federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician License and National PTCB Certification (CPhT)
  • Hospital or health system experience preferred, but open to skilled retail techs transitioning to inpatient care
  • Strong communication skills, tech-savvy, and able to prioritize in a clinical setting
  • Familiarity with IV compounding, automated dispensing systems, and electronic health records is a plus
